Job Description

The main function of a software engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. A typical software engineer researches, designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applications.

Job Responsibilities:
• Setup the team's Azure Dev Ops (ADO) code repo pipeline to automate the test tool releases
• Write code to setup and automate the pipeline and code builds for release located in the GIT repo
• Create user stories and participate in the team's sprint to layout the activities and strategies
• Connect the release pipelines to dashboards and existing Azure resources

Skills:
• Experience in ADO automation
• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines, specifically in ADO
• Experience in Rust is a plus

Job Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 1+ overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: none required. Any certificate in regard to Azure Services is a nice to have.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with AI buzzwords will not be eligible for the role. So, if they mention the use of AI without expanding on their experience, they would not be eligible for the role.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and meeting deadlines

1. Minimum 1+ years experience with ADO automation
2. Minimum 1+ years experience with building CI/CD pipelines, specifically in ADO
3. Minimum 1+ years experience with Azure services
4. 1+ years experience with Rust programming language is a major plus

Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is manufacturing test content development. They are part of the manufacturing team and support the testing of servers before it goes to the data center. This team specifically develops codes/test tools that get deployed and used to test and screen servers at factories.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to setting up the Azure Dev Ops pipeline for the code/tool releases.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 10% meetings, 90% coding/development.
